Dr. Marcel Keller
Treasurer

Marcel is a gay computer scientist and cryptographer. As such, it was hard to not join a club named after Alan Turning, who is seen as one of the most important figure in both fields. Born and raised near Zurich (Switzerland), Marcel has lived in Aarhus (Denmark) and Bristol (England). In 2018, he finally achieved his dream of living in a big city with plenty of sunshine. This was made possible by CSIRO's Data61, where he works on privacy-preserving machine learning.

Andrew Grieg
Committee Member
Andrew is a self-described scientific dilettante - having degrees in biochemistry, exercise science, and biotechnology, and presently working with a team of data scientists at an AI and machine learning consultancy - but whose real passion lies in the possibilities of future humanity (read: science fiction fan). He believes in the importance of conveying the paradoxical magic of advances in technology and science, to the wider community.

Gary Kennedy
Committee Member
Gary led our 2020 Mardi Gras Parade entry and brings much experience to Turing Circle  having previously coordinated a number of floats including OutFM, Sydney Leather Pride, ABBA fan club and Sydney Harbour Bears.

has appeared on news programs including ABC Radio, Foxtel's Channel V and Channel 7's Today Tonight, advising on food technology and food safety issues.
